Empty your cup

Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.

The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"

"Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

The End

The end is always with us, even though we don't realize. Why should we be afraid of it when it has already arrived.
It's the last page of the book that we have started to read.
Life is a journey towards the end.
Each passing day we travel towards it.
There is no future. There is no present. There is only past. After all these years of living, what is that you will have?
The only thing that you will have, the only thing that will always be with you is your
"MEMORIES"

What is your Value?

You will not be valued by what you have,
but by WHAT YOU GIVE...
